Star Wars Battlefront 3 Beta Release Date?

Star Wars: Battlefront is far, far away from our PCs, Xbox One and PS4 consoles. The next holiday season is not something I want to rush towards, but I am dying to see how DICE and EA revamp a series that I still occasionally love to play. But seeing as we have no news, or additional details to go on other than the E3 trailer, maybe Battlefield: Hardline has some things that it can teach us. Star Wars: Battlefront is, according to EA, their big FPS for 2015. Now, that's not to say that our beloved third-person mode will not reappear, it actually says a bit more about what EA think of Battlefield: Hardline. The title is due to hit our consoles and PCs on March 17th, and its beta is looking strong. But how can it show us something about Star Wars: Battlefront? Star Wars: Battlefront & Battlefield: Hardline Let's examine what some feel to the Battlefield: Hardline beta exhibits. Escorting a teammate as dollar bills spew from his bag all the way to the extraction helicopter feels like a real achievement. Getting the drop on a crook and putting his escape to a nasty end is a real cop fantasy. The beta is hectic to say the least. That's what we've come to expect from DICE in terms of their military exploits and Visceral Games have done a great job with them. Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 have shown us some incredible maps and a level of carnage that we hadn't expected. It took a while for Battlefield 4 to really get going, but now with the Premium Edition (which should have been the normal copy) you can expect to play a really fantastic online multiplayer FPS. Hardline is getting similar praise in its early days. The combat is fast, with more familiar vehicles flying around us and city sights replacing the war-torn areas we're familiar with in this series. "The community is playing Hardline because they’re enjoying it, not because it’s free, or because they’re suspiciously poking around trying to find things wrong with it." This comes from VG 24/7, who seem to be convinced that players feel like they're being immersed in a true Battlefield experience, and the comments reflect that. All of this can be transferred over to our beloved Star Wars: Battlefield. We can see clearly that DICE and Visceral Games have been able to take the chaotic war combat and bring it to the streets of America with cops and criminals. The one thing that gets us excited about the idea that DICE are taking over Battlefront, is this chaos. Imagine the laser blaster fire surrounding us, X-Wings falling from the sky, speeders flying past us while the sight of Darth Vader running at you in the distance fills you with dread. If Battlefield: Hardline can get such praise from fans so used to the Battlefield formula and those who disliked the idea of the focus shift, then I feel we can take the wait for Star Wars: Battlefront a bit easier. EA and DICE are looking to make their top FPS for this year. They're going to ensure that it satisfies both their devoted Battlefield fans and those that adored the old Star Wars: Battlefront games. We're going to see the madness of Battlefield transferred over to the Star Wars universe and I seriously can't wait! Star Wars: Battlefront is due to release in the holiday season of 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, whereas Battlefield: Hardline's beta can be enjoyed now on all of these platforms. Be sure to let us know what you think of it so far and whether you feel that Hardline has succeeded or not! Let's hope we don't have to hold out for much longer to get a look at some Battlefront news and gameplay!
